The prolific King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard s latest full-length is a testament to boogie, albeit through the hazy, sci-fi inspired eyes of these Australian psych-rockers. Channeling organic guitar rock and blues through their trademark mechanized art-rock sound, the septet finds themselves in a country funk groove for the title track, which is perhaps the best pro-fish song recorded in years. Boogieman Sam keeps the groove going, this time by way of T-Rex and the fuzzy wailing of Chicago blues-esque harmonica, while Cyboogie answers the oft asked question: What would Kraftwerk sound like if they were fronted by Stevie Wonder?
